The name Denrele Edun will definitely not be new to those who are very conversant with the showbiz industry in Nigeria.
In fact, Denrele is synonymous with ‘corporate madness’.
Though he style of fashion and way of life have caused many controversies, but the popular TV host is living his life the way he wants it.
In a recent interview with www.nigeriafilms.com, the UNILAG graduate narrated how he was embarrassed in church by a pastor with MFM.
According to him, he had attended a vigil at MFM, which is known to be a conservative house of worship, with his hairdo like that of a lady.
He explained that the man of God apparently mistook him for a lady and warned him not to attend the church the next time without covering his hair.
“It’s been long I attended vigil. The last vigil I attended was in January 1, 2016. Ah blood of God and we are in July, I must continue the vigil but I love vigil; then you know when you pack your hair sha wrap one scarf round in fact, the last time I went to MFM, the pastor told me ‘aunty, the next time you come here and you don’t cover your hair, it will not be funny’.
“I couldn’t even start explaining that I was a man and [I] had to let it go,” Denrele told www.nigeriafilms.com, when asked the last time he attended church.
