Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Monday morning, welcomed entourage of the Federal Government for the town hall meeting holding in the state.
The FG delegation was led by Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
The team also included Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige and other top member of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
The Town Hall Meeting on Federal Government Programme, Policies and Activities, is taking place at Nike Lake Resort Hotel, Enugu.
In his remarks, Mohammed said the FG is happy with the warm hospitality they have received in Enugu, pointing out that the governor has shown maturity and commitment to one Nigeria, irrespective of political differences.
In his response, Ugwuanyi thanked the Minister for the choice of Enugu as the venue of the event, saying that the state by its historic background has come a long way in the shaping of the history of Nigeria. He expressed confidence that the Town Hall Meeting would be of immense benefit to the State, South East region and Nigeria at large.
