Ycee is a rap artiste that is getting all the attention at the moment. Since he got the curiosity of music lovers in Nigeria with his ‘Jagaban’ hit single, the artiste has continued to be on the rise in the music scene.
Recently, he had a short interview, where he confessed of occasionally getting panic when he mounts the stage to thrill his fans.
He even advised up-and-coming artistes on how to tackle the issue, noting that it is a thing that is bound to happen.
When asked if he gets nervous, Ycee said, “yeah, sometimes,” but he advised budding artiste to “try to stay focused under all the nervousness, because everyone gets nervous so don’t take it personal.”
When asked the most trouble he had ever been into, he said, “When I was younger, I always used to get in trouble for playing too much or coming home too late. Nothing too crazy.”
On his favourite song, Ycee said it is Rick Ross and Skrillex in ‘Purple Lamborghini, while saying he hopes to be on tour with Drake.
Speaking on his experience with his label, Tinny Entertainment, Ycee said, “The entire experience has been lit.”
He urged his fans to expect ‘The First Wave’ EP, which drops in September. But he stressed that, “I might drop something before that though, just to help build up anticipation for the EP which is my next official project.”
