Police in Lagos have apprehended a self-confessed leader of Eiye confraternity in Somolu and Pedro areas of Lagos State.
The suspect, identified as Oriyomi Ibrahim, but fondly called Small J-Pron, was paraded by the police on Wednesday alongside other members of his gang.
J-Pron confessed that he killed two members of a rival cult group called Aye confraternity to avenge the death of a member of his group.
The suspect, who is an ex-convict, has been on the wanted list of Lagos State Police Command over his alleged involvement in various crimes ranging from robbery and arson.
Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Fatai Owoseni, described the arrest of the cultist as a major feat.
He said J-Pron was apprehended over the weekend at Petit Street, Somolu by policemen attached to Alade Division.
The Commissioner disclosed that the suspect and members of his group allegedly set a building at Ilepo area of Somolu ablaze, during a recent clash with rival cult group, in which a woman was burnt to death.
