President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has rescheduled another security meeting for next week. This came after governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, were left out in the first meeting which held on Thursday in Abuja.
It was gathered that Jonathan decided to hold another meeting with the governors, along with the Service Chiefs, to discuss the present security situation in the country.
Thursday’s meeting did not involve governors of the APC because they were not invited, according to Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, PDPGF. A presidential aide had earlier claimed that the APC governors shunned the meeting called by the President.
