Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has concluded plans to hold its local government congress on Saturday (today). The congress will take place as scheduled across the state, the state Interim Chairman of APC, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed also assured party faithfulls.
Baba-Ahmed informed journalists on Friday in Kaduna that the date was agreed upon by all leaders and stakeholders, including aspirants for the position of state and local government chairmen on Thursday, May 29, 2014, promising to carry out a peaceful and successful congress today.
He also stated that the state congress organising committee would soon release the results of the ward congresses conducted earlier. He urged the aspirants to play by the game, noting that his party will continue to work towards ensuring that only the most positive things are achieved in the party and the country.
Baba-Amhed later thanked the National Headquarters of APC and Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State for resolving the internal problems of the party in the state.
