Atiku’s Son To Wed Ribadu’s Daughter

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, will soon become in-laws.

This is because their children will be getting married and the wedding is already being touted to be surprise wedding of the year.

It was gathered that the two families will become one on Saturday October 3, 2020 and on that day; they will set aside their political differences for the sake of their children. Atiku’s son is marrying Ribadu’s daughter.

Though the two families are from Adamawa State, North-Eastern part of the country, they belong to different political parties.

Aliyu Abubakar Atiku and Fatima Ribadu will tie the knot on Saturday in a low-key event at 18 Mambilla Street Aso Drive Abuja and the ceremony would be witnessed by a small number of people in line with COVID-19 protocols.

The two young lovers kept their love going despite their parents’ known longstanding personal and political differences.

The former Vice president reportedly returned from his home in Dubai for the ceremony after nine months outside Nigeria.

Aliyu Atiku Abubakar  holds the chieftaincy title of the Turaki of Adamawa, a role he took over from his father when he had to step down to become the Waziri of Adamawa in 2017. Aliyu, a banker is also a politician like his father.

Fatima Ribadu, one of the five children of the former EFCC boss, graduated from the Nigerian Turkish International College in Abuja in 2015 before going abroad for university education. She is close friend with Hanan, daughter of President Mohammed Buhari.
