According to information reaching our news desk, an explosion believed to be caused by a detonated bomb has occurred in Adamawa State.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon at the Kasuwan Kuturu market in Mubi, Adamawa State.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that the Commissioner of Police in Adamawa claimed the the bomb was targeted at a police patrol team. He added that no casualties were recorded from the explosion.
Wednesday’s incident is happening some days after a similar bomb blast in a football viewing centre claimed the lives of about 14 football fans.
No arrest has been confirmed yet.
