Portuguese striker, Christiano Ronaldo, has been announced as winner of the 2014 FIFA World Footballer of Year.
The Real Madrid player picked the coveted individual award in football on Monday night at a ceremony held in Zurich, Switzerland.
He beat Barcelona and Argentine player, Lionel Messi, and Manuel Neuer, a Bayern Munich and German goalkeeper, to win the precious award.
This is the second year running Ronaldo will be claiming the title. The 2014 award is also his third.
While playing at Manchester United, the player won the award. He has now won the title two times as a Madrid player.
