The tension caused by the disappearance of the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, since the conclusion of the March 28, 2015, presidential election, which the President lost to his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari, has been finally put to rest.
The Presidency, on Thursday morning, broke its silence on the whereabouts of Patience.
A statement issued by the Media Assistant to Mrs Jonathan, Ayo Adewuyi, disclosed that the First Lady is presently in Congo.
Adewuyi explained that Patience was in the country to join her colleagues from Africa for the celebration of the 30th anniversary Congo Assistance Foundation, a non-profit organisation established by her Congolese counterpart, Madam Antoinette Sassou-Nguesso.
However, Adewuyi, did not state when Patience arrived Congo or when she will return to Nigeria.
Before the general elections, Mrs Jonathan was very vocal, but after her husband lost, she went underground.
Mama Peace, as she is fondly called, even shunned a Presidential breakfast held recently at the Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja.
