Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has appointed his former colleague in the immediate past administration’s cabinet, Kenneth Kobani as Secretary to the Rivers State Government.
Kobani was the Minister of State for Trade and Investment in former President Goodluck Jonathan’s government, while Wike was the Minister of State for Education.
The new SSG was also a former Commissioner for Finance in Rivers State and hails from Bodo-Ogoni in Gokana local government area of the state.
Also, Wike appointed former Chairman of Emohua LGA, Emeka Woke, as his Chief of Staff.
The governor also announced the appointment of Opunabo Inko-Tariah as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity. Inko-Tariah is the Publisher Hard Truth, a Port Harcourt-based tabloid.
Wike further appointed Dr A J Beredugo as his Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation.
