Buhari Gives Deadline For Treasury Single Account Compliance

A deadline has been given to all Federal MDAs to comply with the new rule mandating them to remit all government revenues into a single account called the Treasury Single Account, TSA.

According to the directive, all the agencies of the Federal Government must start paying into the TSA on or before September 15, 2015. This came to check corruption in government parastatals.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has issued a Tuesday, September 15, 2015 deadline for all Federal MDAs to comply with the Treasury Single Account (TSA) instruction.

“By that deadline, all Federal Government revenues must go into the Central Bank Treasury Single Account (TSA), except otherwise expressly approved,” a statement from the Presidency disclosed on Monday.
