In the statement titled ‘Debunking The Lies Of The Sun: Senator T.A. Orji Was Not Booed In Osisioma’, the lawmaker said the report by the newspaper is totally false.

“There was no murmur or booing of any kind, contrary to The Sun’s report and, curiously, this false report was credited to ‘Our Reporter’ without any name, as is customary with the group when they give false reports like this one on Chief Orji.

“If I may ask, was this booing selective when the trio of the Deputy Senate President, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Senator Orji arrived the venue or when the Senator made a speech? Senator Orji did not make any speech. Do you boo one who won election or the one who has failed in many attempts?” the statement said.

Orji was at the burial ceremony of Dr Roland Nwaogu, husband of Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, in Osisioma. He claimed reporters from other media houses at there to cover the event and did not report such because it never happened.
