Ex-Cross River Deputy Gov. Dies In London

A former deputy governor of Cross River State, Mathias Offoboche, is reportedly dead.

Offoboche was said to have passed on in a London hospital after a protracted illness. He reportedly breathed his last on Sunday.

According to information gathered by our reporter, Offoboche was a deputy governor under the administration of Dr Clement Isong of the defunct Nigerian Peoples Party, NPN.

The deceased, an octogenarian, was reportedly rushed to a hospital in London for an undisclosed illness.
