Juliet Ibrahim Directs Photo Session For Project 'RAW'

Highly gifted and charming actress, Juliet Ibrahim recently directed a photo shoot for a foundation belonging to an actor-cum-model, Emmanuel Ikubese.

The project tagged RAW (Respect A Woman), is to create awareness against domestic violence and it offered the actress an opportunity to hone her directorial skills which she debuted in her new TV Series; ‘Every Woman Has A Story’ which will be hitting TV screens soon.

According to Juliet, “The shoot was something I was excited to be part of because it was an avenue to bring to fore what a lot of women go through in silence on a daily basis via domestic abuse.”

Speaking further, she said, “I tried my best to make sure the work has a consistent message that fits in with what Emmanuel is trying to project, hoping that it would give women a strength to speak up and men a spine to man up and stop battering women both emotionally and physically.”

Juliet paid glowing tributes to both the “photographer and makeup artist”, saying that “working with them made the vision I had as a director so easy to visualize.”

Shot in Le Paris Hotel, Lagos, the shoot features Juliet Ibrahim, Adunni Ade, Beverly Naya, Layole Oyatogun and Tania Omotayo, Lisa Omorodion and Taje Prest.

The Project RAW Charity Ball will hold on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Ibru Gardens in Victoria Island, Lagos and attendance is a strictly by invitation.
