National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, has been remanded in Kuje Prisons by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Metuh was arraigned on Friday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over an alleged fraud linking him with the $2.1 billion arms deal scandal.
The opposition’s spokesman was brought before Justice Abang Okon by the anti-graft agency on a 7-count charge bordering on corruption and money laundering.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges when read to him and his bail application deferred till January 19, 2016. He was then directed to be remanded at Kuje Prisons in Abuja.
