Borno Assembly Sealed By EFCC

Operatives of the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday invaded the Borno State House of Assembly and sealed it.

Some members of the Assembly were also reportedly arrested by the anti-graft agency and taken away in their vehicles.

It was gathered that the Assembly was sealed over an alleged fraud.

It was also learnt that some of the lawmakers ran away when men of the EFCC stormed the Assembly.

However, as at press time, we could not confirm this report, but we learnt there is tension in Maiduguri, the state capital.
